INGONISH — An engineering firm is carrying out geological work related to the construction of a war memorial at Green Cove in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Maria O’Hearn, Parks Canada spokeswoman, said Tuesday that work will continue this week to determine whether the site can support a proposed “Mother Canada” statue and interpretive centre.
